We had a great morning of racing out at Lakeside. In the end Hamilton won and retained the Arses Trophy for 2022 scoring 550 points to Uni's 350.

2nd April 2022 Nicol Jackson Ladies Day Results

We had a great day at Nundah for the Nicol Jackson Ladies Day. Neil Jackson came out to speak about Nicol, and Steve Shultz (Nick's Dad and close family friends) handed out some prizes.

A big field of 62 ladies across the grades had entered and the racing was lots of fun.

Thanks to Pushys for their generous donation of vouchers to the tune of $300, $200 & 100 for first to third. This plus the $100 first place cash prize meant there were some happy winners!





Thanks to all out volunteers for their help before and during the day, including cleaning the track ready for racing.

Ladies Captain Katie Cole's Report

A huge thanks to Neil Jackson for donating prize money for the women’s events for today’s racing. A great event each year to remember HWCC member, Nicol Jackson who passed away from Motor Neurone Disease. Thank you to all who donated to the charity when you entered, you helped raise nearly $700 to support much needed research. Each event was hotly contested and every woman out there had a smile on their face when they finished. It was so awesome to see so many supporters coming out to cheer the 180 women and men, across the eight events for the morning. Congratulations to all who podiumed and thank you to everyone who participated. Thank you to everyone who helped organise and ran the day, especially the volunteers - we couldn’t have any race events without you.
