Please read the COVID-19 Policy and disclaimer and this notice from Cycling Queensland CEO Sean Muir:
Today (Aug 22nd) the Queensland Government was forced to make changes to the COVID-19 restrictions, due to a number of coronavirus cases being identified. These changes are in place for a number of Local Government Areas, including Brisbane, Ipswich, Logan, Scenic Rim, Somerset, Lockyer Valley, Moreton Bay, and Redlands.
These changes in restrictions limit the number of visitors you can have in your home, and the number of people you can have at a public gathering. However, the advice we have received to date is that as long as sporting events are inline with the Sporting Industry Plan – Outdoor Sport there are no changes to restrictions and events can proceed.
Please note that this advice may change at any time, and as a sport we will need to be flexible and understanding of an environment that is constantly changing.
The safety of our members, participants and cyclists Queensland wide is our priority and we will continue to work closely with the Queensland Government and Sport and Recreation. Please keep socially distant, wash your hands and if you have any symptoms please get tested.
If you have any questions please feel free to reach out to me.
